Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling classes, maintaining records, preparing reports, and responding to inquiries from students and faculty.
Coordinate with departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration in scheduling and timetabling.
Manage room bookings and ensure that all language classes have appropriate spaces and resources.
Oversee the registration process for language courses and maintain accurate student records.
Assist with the organization and administration of language proficiency tests.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement new administrative procedures and systems.
Manage and maintain the Language Center's communication channels, including social media accounts, email accounts, and other relevant platforms, to ensure effective and timely communication with students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
Create, curate, and distribute engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, email newsletters, and the Language Center's website, to promote language learning and teaching and build a strong online community.
Monitor and respond to incoming messages and inquiries from students, faculty, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in language teaching and learning administration.
Coordinate events and activities related to language learning, such as workshops, seminars, and cultural exchange programs.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new faculty and staff members.
Manage the Language Center's inventory of teaching materials and resources.
Provide support to students and faculty in accessing and using language learning resources.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Profil recherché :
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in a language teaching and learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with scheduling, timetabling, and coordinating with departments.
Knowledge of language teaching and learning administration and best practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Fluency in English and at least one other language.
Experience with website and social media management is preferred.
Experience with event planning and coordination is preferred.
