Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling classes, maintaining records, preparing reports, and responding to inquiries from students and faculty.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration in scheduling and timetabling.
  • Manage room bookings and ensure that all language classes have appropriate spaces and resources.
  • Oversee the registration process for language courses and maintain accurate student records.
  • Assist with the organization and administration of language proficiency tests.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement new administrative procedures and systems.
  • Manage and maintain the Language Center's communication channels, including social media accounts, email accounts, and other relevant platforms, to ensure effective and timely communication with students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
  • Create, curate, and distribute engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, email newsletters, and the Language Center's website, to promote language learning and teaching and build a strong online community.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming messages and inquiries from students, faculty, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in language teaching and learning administration.
  • Coordinate events and activities related to language learning, such as workshops, seminars, and cultural exchange programs.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new faculty and staff members.
  • Manage the Language Center's inventory of teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide support to students and faculty in accessing and using language learning resources.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Profil recherché :

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in a language teaching and learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with scheduling, timetabling, and coordinating with departments.
  • Knowledge of language teaching and learning administration and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language.
  • Experience with website and social media management is preferred.
  • Experience with event planning and coordination is preferred.
