PROFILE:
- You graduated from an Engineering School with a bachelors or master’s degree
- Your level of experience ranges from junior to advance: you are a student OR/AND you have already occupied one or more positions among the following: Algorithm or Software Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Engineer
- You are curious and willing to stay abreast of the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)
- You enjoy thinking "outside the box" and use your creativity to address complex challenges
- You are recognized as a team player and promote collaborative work
- You are user centric and want to design components accordingly
COMPETENCIES:
- You have in-depth knowledge in mathematics, algorithms, experiment plan, continuous iterations and Agility
- You are proficient in one of the following Artificial Intelligence Approches:
- Data driven AI, Symbolic AI, Hybrid AI on the Solution
- Symbolic Artificial Intelligence and reasoning
- Human/machine dialog
- Systems Analysis
- You understand the norms, laws and standards
- You have knowledge of cybersecurity
- You can confidently discuss with people from different jobs and background
- You master foundational concepts in mathematics/ statistics science and their application to deploy them on Solution studies: statistical modelling, linear algebra, optimisation, machine learning Mathematics and Statistics
LIFE AS A THALES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINEERING ROLEAs an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Role within Thales, you will:
- Design and develop trustworthy artificial intelligence components for various domains
- Identify the right cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies (machine learning, symbolic AI, dialogue) and develop the Artificial Intelligence component accordingly
- Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Understanding (NLU), and also to design multimodal approaches for Human-Machin Dialog including intention understanding, reasoning and hybrid AI
- Work on Machine Learning, causality vs. correlation, and/or other Data driven AI technics such as Random Forest, Evolutionary Algorithms, …
- Work on Symbolic AI, Ontology, Semantic Web, Knowledge based Reasoning, Meta-heuristics, Problem Solving, Operations Research, Decision Making and reasoning
- Propose and design approach alternatives
- Integrate scientific method into engineering system methodology
- Ensure data knowledge and traceability
- Ensure continuous techno watch and be aware of the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)
- Define the system capabilities thanks to a functional, logical and value analysis, describing functions to be performed to meet the real needs of the user in the various scenarios and maximizing product value for Customer
