Job Description
We are looking for a HR & Administration Responsible to support the operations of the Sanden Morocco plant in Tangier. You will be part of the start-up team for the new site. Your responsibility will be to organize and steer HR operational activities from a blank sheet of paper and to structure the HR team. As a partner to the managers, you will translate the operational needs of your scope into HR solutions in line with HR policy, while maintaining a positive and productive working climate.
Essential responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Structure and coordinate the plant HR team to ensure effective and consistent management of human resources
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, training plans, internal mobility and disciplinary actions for the entire site population under the supervision of the Plant General Manager.
- Prepare payroll upstream, checking employees salaries and social contributions, supporting submission validation with Plant General Manager
- Draft and manage employment contracts, respond to employee queries regarding employment law, recruitment, training, career management and compensation
- Implement and maintain HR processes meeting the requirements implied by IATF 16949 automotive standard (skill management, training and staff awareness) in collaboration with the Plant General Manager.
- Develop and ensure the application of a local HR policy in line with HQ strategy, guaranteeing the achievement of HR objectives and KPIs for the site under the supervision of the Plant General Manager
- Advise and support managers proactively on all matters related to performance management, career development and disciplinary actions.
- Analyze HR data to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, prepare reports for Plant General Manager and recommend improvements
- Prepare and monitor the human resources budget (CAPEX/OPEX) under the supervision of the Plant General Manager, ensuring effective cost control and alignment with site financial objectives
- Contribute to the creation of a corporate culture focused on quality, safety and innovation
- Manage internal communication and social relations, ensuring a pleasant and sustainable social climate
- Implement programs to identify, develop and retain talent, working with managers to prepare succession plans and encourage internal mobility
- Provide some executive assistance to the Plant General Manager
Qualifications
Required experience and education:
- At least 5 years' experience as an HR generalist, preferably in the automotive industry or on a production site
- Bac + 5 / Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Your Must Haves:
- In-depth knowledge of Moroccan labour law to ensure compliance of HR procedures
- Proven experience in recruiting and selecting candidates for industrial and technical positions
- Good knowledge of payroll management and salary settlements under Moroccan labour regulations
- Theoretical understanding of social relation dynamics
- Strong command of spoken and written English & French, enabling clear expression of ideas, concepts, thoughts and complex information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Leadership qualities combining flexibility, diplomacy, integrity and rigor
