About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Swiss accounting standards and full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate will have practical experience working with Bexio and/or Abacus and a strong understanding of Swiss financial regulations.

DigitalTolk Group has recently acquired companies in DACH (including Switzerland) and our Finance department is growing to support accounting across the region. In the coming year, we will make additional acquisitions in the country, and this role will own the integration of the accounting of these companies into the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully own accounting in Switzerland for multiple legal units

• Manage in-housing of accounting of acquired companies in the country

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Swiss accounting standards (OR)

• Perform bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Prepare VAT returns in compliance with Swiss regulations

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with Swiss financial and tax requirements

• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders when required

• Handle payroll and employee insurances for staff in the country

• Maintain and manage accounting systems (Bexio / Abacus)

Requirements

• Proven experience in Swiss accounting

• Hands-on experience with Bexio and/or Abacus

• Experience handling full-cycle AR/AP

• Strong understanding of Swiss VAT and regulatory requirements

• Experience with monthly and annual financial closings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication skills in English (German or French is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Swiss accounting certification or equivalent experience

• Experience working in SMEs or international environment

• 3-6 years of working experience
