Sales Performance:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze daily sales performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Implement sales strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
  • Ensure the team is knowledgeable about product features, pricing, and promotions to support customer decision-making.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated customer queries or complaints, ensuring a timely and professional resolution.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Create a positive and motivating team environment, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency, especially during peak hours.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set individual development plans for sales associates.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals, performance, and store updates.

Customer Experience:

  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that the team follows IKEA's service standards.
  • Support customers in finding the right products, offering personalized assistance when needed.
  • Ensure the store is well-presented, clean, and organized, providing customers with a pleasant shopping environment.

Visual Merchandising & Stock Management:

  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising in line with IKEA's guidelines.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock situations and ensure that popular products are available for customers.
  • Ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked and that product displays are updated as required.

Administrative & Operational Tasks:

  • Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling.
  • Report on sales data, customer feedback, and team performance to the Store Manager.
  • Ensure that health and safety standards are followed at all times by the sales team.


Qualification

  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a retail sales or leadership role, preferably in a large-scale retail environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, customer-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with IKEA products, services, and visual merchandising standards is a plus.
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic, French and English.
