Technical SEO Focus - Full-Stack Developer (WordPress & Next.js)

Location: Agadir (Office-based)
Job Type: Full-time
Language: English (Mandatory)

Salary: Starting from 7,500 MAD per month, depending on experience and technical level.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong Technical SEO expertise to join our team in Agadir. This role combines hands-on development across WordPress and modern JavaScript frameworks with advanced technical SEO implementation.

You will take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and ongoing optimization. Beyond building applications, you will ensure that all websites and platforms are optimized for performance, scalability, security, and search engine visibility.

This is a high-impact role suited for someone who understands that modern development and SEO performance go hand-in-hand.

Key Responsibilities :

Full-Stack Development

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications across front-end and back-end systems.
• Build and customize WordPress websites (themes, plugins, advanced functionality).
• Develop scalable applications using MERN stack and Next.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and well-tested code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, production-ready websites and applications.
• Deploy and maintain projects across different hosting environments.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and scalability standards.

Technical SEO & Performance Optimization

• Implement advanced Technical SEO best practices across all projects.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and overall PageSpeed performance.
• Improve crawlability and indexation (robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects).
• Implement and validate structured data (Schema.org / JSON-LD).
• Conduct technical audits and resolve indexing, rendering, and site architecture issues.
• Manage site migrations without SEO performance loss.
• Optimize site architecture for scalability and search engine visibility.
• Work with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and similar.
• Diagnose crawl behavior and technical issues when necessary.

Required Technical Skills:

WordPress (Mandatory)

• Strong experience in custom WordPress development.
• Proficiency with builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
• Ability to create and customize plugins and themes.
• Strong PHP knowledge for backend customization.
• Deep understanding of WordPress performance optimization and security best practices.

MERN / Next.js Stack (Mandatory)

• Proven experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Experience working with Prisma and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Ability to build responsive, scalable, and maintainable applications.

Technical SEO (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of Technical SEO principles and ranking factors.
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of structured data implementation and validation.
• Understanding of crawl budget optimization and index management.
• Experience handling redirects (301/302), canonicalization, and duplicate content issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot indexing and rendering problems.

Deployment & Infrastructure

• Experience deploying to Vercel, Netlify, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage applications on VPS environments (AWS, Contabo, or equivalent).
• Understanding of deployment workflows, environment configuration, and basic server management.

Design to Code

• Ability to convert Figma designs into:
• WordPress websites, or
• Front-end applications using React, Tailwind CSS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong attention to responsiveness and cross-device compatibility.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability and independent thinking.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Location Requirement

This is an office-based position in Agadir.
Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate before starting.
